Bright Horizons Foundation for Children
For more than 25 years, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children has been helping Bright Horizons employees, families and friends to give back to the communities where they live and work. Through volunteer projects, grants, and our signature program – Bright Spaces ® – over the years the Foundation made a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and families facing challenging times.
Bright Spaces®
The signature program of the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, Bright Spaces® are safe places for children to play and learn, created by Bright Horizons employees in partnership with local non-profit organizations. These warm, safe, enriching places are created in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and other agencies serving children and families. In a Bright Space, children and their families can build caring relationships, heal from trauma through play, and experience the joy of childhood. Brightening Lives Activities
Brightening Lives Activities are hands-on service projects done together by groups of Bright Horizons employees, center families, clients, and agency partners. These activities directly support children and families in Bright Spaces® or other local nonprofits, connecting our Bright Horizons family with the needs of their local community. From diaper drives to comfort kits, book collections to birthday boxes, each year thousands of volunteer hours are dedicated to these social impact projects.
