Materials Needed:
- Printouts of family photos
- Tray or cookie sheet
- Sand or cornmeal
Participants: This activity is intended for independent play or adult/child interaction.
Directions:
- Lay the family photos on the cookie sheet or tray.
- Cover the photos with sand or cornmeal (use inexpensive copies printed on regular copy paper).
- Encourage your child to find the photos in the sand or cornmeal. Ask her to name each person or give each person’s name.
