Bright Horizons Employees Participate in Annual Serve from the HEART Week to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Commitment to Service
January 23, 2024 – Last week, Bright Horizons employees across the country participated in the company’s annual Serve from the HEART week of service from January 15 – 22 to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, legacy, and commitment to service.
Bright Horizons’ BRIDGE (Black Resources for Inclusion Diversity Growth and Equity) Employee Resource Group in partnership with the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children encouraged employees to get involved in their communities by assembling comfort kits for local organizations that serve children in crisis.
At the Bright Horizons home office in Newton, MA, employees made toys for dogs in need at the Shultz Guest House, a dog rescue shelter in Dedham, MA and assembled baskets filled with hot chocolate kits for the Newton Police Department. Representatives from the police department including community resource canine officer, Officer Leo, visited the home office to learn more about Serve from the HEART Week, and to share ideas on how Bright Horizons can further collaborate with the Newton community.
