Doug Gensler, Principal + Co-Managing Director, Gensler

Doug is a Principal with Gensler, a global architecture + design practice with 50 offices and a team of 6500 people around the Globe.  He is the co-Managing Director of Gensler Boston, guiding the 160-person team with strategic leadership on projects across a wide range of clients. 

Doug is a Registered Architect with 25 years of experience, who seeks design solutions that create value, enhance organizational performance + human experience, and minimize environmental impact.

A few of Doug’s recent projects include Partners HealthCare’s 750,000 SF administrative campus, Somerville; The Hub on Causeway, a 1.8 million SF mixed-use development in Boston, Mathworks new 550,000 SF campus in Natick, and the total transformation of One Post Office Square in downtown Boston.
