Shoutout to our clients!

The nation’s biggest names (and the employers we’re lucky enough to call clients) are making child care news – the latest featuring PepsiCo’s Pepstart center on CBS News.

Why all the buzz?

In short, ROI. About a third of the workforce is working parents, and a lot of them waited to have children until their 30s, meaning they’re in important roles. Plus, it’s one tough talent market. Take care of those parents and the stars align: happy children…happy employees…and so happy employers…and bottom lines. No surprise, more companies are stepping up… “Companies like Home Depot, Companies like Mercedes, and Starbucks,” our CHRO Maribeth Bearfield told CBS of the growing list.

Need more?

“I think it’s a big retention hook for a lot of folks,” a PepsiCo dad told CBS. “Most companies don’t have  something like this.”

“It’s a win-win,” added CBS News Business Analyst Jill Schlesinger.  Child care centers, “are meant to bring more qualified people into an organization.”

“I’ve had parents come to me and say, ‘I’ve been offered a position … can I leave my child here if I leave?’” the director of the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System  center told South Carolina’s Upstate Business Journal. “And the answer is no. And they don’t leave.”

Retention, recruitment, culture gold.

None of this is any surprise to us.

Our clients have always been trendsetters – the tops on Fortune, Working Mother, and more.

We’re proud to be in their corner.

Thanks for setting the bar!
