Participants: This activity is intended for adult/child interaction or independent play.
Directions:
- Talk about the service postal workers provide by sorting and delivering our mail.
- Encourage your child to set up a pretend post office and letter writing station. Write letters or draw pictures to send to friends or even your child’s pets or stuffed animals.
- Help your child “sort” the letters, sending them to different parts of your home. Place the letters in a bag and deliver or mail them to friends and family.
- Write a thank-you note to your local postal workers.
