Bright Horizons CEO Dave Lissy Honored with Work-Life Legacy Award at Families and Work Institute Annual Gala

Bright Horizons CEO Dave Lissy was presented with the Work-Life Legacy Award at the 2015 Families and Work Institute Annual Gala and Afternoon Symposium. Lissy received this prestigious recognition for his extraordinary contributions to the work-life movement. The award commends the men and women who have transformed the way work gets done and have helped employees manage their work, and their personal and family responsibilities.

In an interview with Ellen Galinksy, the Institute's President, Lissy discussed the importance of the ongoing dialogue about the need for family-friendly workplaces, which has encouraged so many leading employers to create cultures that foster a healthy integration between work and life. Throughout his career, Lissy has created early education and care programs for employed parents that are as respectful of their own child care staff as they are of the employed parents they serve.

"Bright Horizons was founded more than twenty five years ago with a clear mission of making a difference in the lives of the clients and families we have a privilege to serve," said Lissy. "I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Families and Work Institute, and feel incredibly lucky to be part of an organization that is so passionate about supporting the pursuit of work/life balance and devoted to creating a work environment founded on dignity and respect."
