Bright Horizons Named a Top Work Place by The Denver Post

[WATERTOWN, Mass., -- April 13, 2015] Bright Horizons Family Solutions®, a leading provider of high-quality child care, early education, educational counseling and other services designed to help employers and families address the challenges of work and life, today announced it has been named to the Denver Post's annual "Top Places to Work" in Colorado.

"This recognition highlights the passion and enthusiasm that Bright Horizons employees have for our mission of supporting working families and helping employers and their employees to succeed in their personal and professional goals," said Bright Horizons Chief Executive Officer David Lissy. "We are proud of our family of employees for their creating great places to work everywhere we operate and for giving life to our mission driven culture that drives how we treat each other and how we provide great support to families and clients."

Bright Horizons released the Modern Family Index in 2014, a new study of working mothers and fathers across the U.S. that explores what it means to be a working parent today. The study revealed that while much has changed about how working parents approach family obligations, many feel that family responsibilities can be detrimental to the development of their career. Bright Horizons works within its own organization and with employers to create work environments where employees feel supported, empowered, and able to take advantage of unique benefits that enable them to balance their work with their personal obligations and interests outside of the office.

"It is an honor to partner with other organizations in Colorado who also recognize the importance of implementing strategies and solutions that help in achieving a healthy work and life balance and we applaud those companies that were also recognized," said Lissy.

In addition to 17 Colorado child care centers, Bright Horizons also has a Customer Contact Center located in Colorado, which supports the company's full-service child care, emergency back-up care, adult learning and college counseling services. As a result of the Contact Center's dedicated staff and exceptional customer service, it has been certified as a Center of Excellence.
