Bright Horizons Named "Best Place to Work" by the Boston Business Journal

April 25, 2016 - Bright Horizons Family Solutions,® a leading provider of employer-sponsored child care, early education, and work/life solutions, has been recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Boston Business Journal. This marks the tenth year in a row that Bright Horizons has been named to the list.

"It is an honor to be named to the BBJ’s Best Places to Work list for the tenth year in a row," said Bright Horizons Chief Executive Officer David Lissy. "The BrightHorizons family is dedicated to maintaining a workplace that provides growth opportunities, recognition for hard work, and support to help everyone succeed in both their professional and personal lives. The employees that make up our Bright Horizons family are the ones responsible for creating this special working environment and for preserving a positive company culture.  We are thrilled to be recognized by the BBJ for this accomplishment."

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Bright Horizons Family Solutions promotes work-life integration with flexible work options, in addition to providing employees access to the same benefits offered to its clients.  Some of those benefits include employer-sponsored on-site child care for those in the Watertown-based home office, elder care services for employees with aging parents, and back-up care programs that help working parents secure last-minute care for a child, parent or other dependent when traditional care plans fall through. Bright Horizons also offers tuition advisory services for employees who would like to take classes while working, and college admissions/financial aid assistance to those employees with children interested in applying to college. For teachers, the company also offers the CDA (Childhood Development Associate) certification in-house at no cost.

The organizations named to this year’s list will be recognized on Thursday, June 23rd at Boston Symphony Hall.  Click here for the entire list or to learn more about the program.
