Bright Horizons Named One of FORTUNE's "100 Best Companies to Work For"

March 5, 2015 – Bright Horizons Family Solutions®, a leading provider of high-quality child care, early education and other services designed to help employees and families address the challenges of work and life, today announced that it has been named to FORTUNE’s  2015 "100 Best Companies to Work For" list. This is the 16th time the company has been named to the list, which recognizes organizations that have exceptional workplace cultures.

"This honor belongs to each member of our Bright Horizons family, and is a direct reflection of the passion and dedication they bring to work each day to make a profound and unique difference in the world," said Bright Horizons Chief Executive Officer David Lissy.

Bright Horizons has fostered a workforce that is committed to giving back to the communities it serves. This year, Bright Horizons, through its corporate foundation, The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, partnered with NBC's TODAY Show on their Shine a Light Series, a year-long initiative focused on service and giving back to the community. As part of the project, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children volunteers worked with TODAY host Willie Geist to transform an outdated recreation room at the Bushwick Family Residence, a transitional shelter for homeless families in Brooklyn, New York, into a colorful and enriching space where children can play, explore their creativity and spend quality time with their families.

"Bright Horizons has held steadfast to its nearly 30-year strong company culture, one in which employees and leadership provide unwavering support to one another, as well as those outside of the Bright Horizons community," said Bright Horizons President and COO Mary Ann Tocio. "This achievement truly demonstrates that our employees are committed to preserving a trusting and caring work environment for each other, and the parents and clients we serve."

Bright Horizons was selected among hundreds of companies to be included on this year's list. Selection for the list is based on an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about the company's programs and practices. Great Place to Work® then evaluates each application using its unique methodology based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
