Surprise Honor for Daycare Worker Who Treats Babies Like Her Own

March 19, 2026 –  Angi G., a teacher at Expand Energy Child Development Center in Oklahoma City, OK, was recently surprised with KFOR-TV’s Pay It 4Ward award. A family at the center nominated Angi in recognition of the kindness and care she has shown their daughter since attending the program.

“She’s been doing this for 40-plus years, her entire career,” Anna said. “She has been such a huge piece of so many families’ lives, including ourselves, and then most of the time when you ask her what she’s doing on the weekend, it’s usually some form of volunteering, so she’s just a woman of service that cares for so many other people.”
