August 20, 2026 – The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children and Family Promise of Las Vegas recently celebrated the opening of a new Bright Horizons Bright Space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Family Promise of Las Vegas Family Navigation Center in Las Vegas, NV.

The ceremony included brief remarks from Family Promise and Bright Horizons representatives, the official ribbon cutting, and an opportunity for invited guests to tour the completed space.

Bright Spaces, the signature program of the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, provides cheerful, inviting, safe, and engaging environments where children can play, learn, develop resilience, and strengthen relationships with their families and other caring adults. Approximately 300 Bright Spaces are currently operating across the United States.

The new Bright Space at Family Promise of Las Vegas will serve children whose families are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. It will provide a welcoming environment where children can read, play, create, and participate in age-appropriate activities while their parents work with Family Promise staff toward employment, financial stability, permanent housing, and long-term independence.

“Our Family Navigation Center was intentionally designed to be a place where families can feel safe, supported, and welcomed during a very difficult time in their lives,” said Marisa Cervantes, Executive Director of Family Promise of Las Vegas. “This new Bright Space adds another important dimension to that vision by providing children with a place created especially for them—a place where they can learn, play, heal, and simply be children.”

The Bright Space features books, toys, learning materials, comfortable furnishings, art supplies, and other activities selected to meet the needs of children and families served through Family Promise programs.

“Our goal with Bright Spaces is to give children the opportunities they deserve to develop resilience and form stronger bonds with their families and other caring adults,” said Yvonne Lynch, President of the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. “We strive to promote healing, offer nurturing and stimulating activities, and provide a stable, enriching environment for each child who walks through the door.”
