Spotlight on Safety: How Outside Perspectives Help Us Grow

October 1, 2026 – At Bright Horizons, the safety and well-being of children is at the center of everything we do. 

We believe in creating environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive, supported by dedicated educators and staff who uphold our standards of care and integrity, and we are always looking for ways to build on our strong foundation. 

Just as we encourage children to stay curious and keep growing, we believe learning never stops for us, either.  We regularly seek outside perspectives, learn from experts, and explore new ideas. One example of our commitment to continuous learning is our work with Praesidium, a leader in child safety and safeguarding with more than three decades of experience helping organizations that serve children and families strengthen their practices. 

Our work, in partnership with Praesidium, will include strengthening best practice standards in areas such as policies and procedures, hiring and operational practices, and other elements that will continue to enhance the safe, nurturing environments we create for children.

The partnership will help us stay closely connected to the latest thinking in safety and care and to challenge ourselves to keep improving and is one part of a broader commitment to continually strengthening safety across Bright Horizons. We believe that doing what’s best for children means never standing still and we will keep listening, learning, and welcoming new perspectives to help create the safe, nurturing environments every child deserves.
