Winter Warm-Up Family Event at Bright Horizons at Back Bay Promotes Movement and Wellness

February 14, 2024 –  Last week, Bright Horizons families were invited to attend a Winter Warm-Up event at their local center. The fun event focused on movement, mindfulness, and wellness activities for the center community. 

At the Bright Horizons at Back Bay center in Boston, MA families mingled with special guest Kristin McSwain, Director of the Office of Early Childhood for the City of Boston. Parents and children were encouraged to participate in activities set up in the center’s Movement Matters zone including an aluminum foil skating rink where the children skated along to the Frozen movie soundtrack. 

Center Director Jennifer Keating and Assistant Center Director Casstrena Moses also gave Kristin a tour of the center along with an overview of Bright Horizons’ Discovery Driven Learning® approach to early education.
