Sharing Expertise on Workforce Education

August 5, 2021 – Bright Horizons senior executives will take the stage at the 2021 ASU+ GSV Summit, a leading event in the EdTech space connecting thought leaders who are focused on transforming business through learning and work, and ensuring that all people have equal access to the future. The event will take place August 9-11, 2021 in San Diego.

Both Dr. Jill Buban, general manager of Bright Horizons EdAssist Solutions, and Priya Krishnan, senior vice president of Client Relations and Growth Operations at Bright Horizons, will be sharing their expertise on the importance of education – from early childhood education to upskilling and advanced education opportunities for adult learners – in recruiting and retaining top talent in a tight labor market.

A thought leader with extensive experience on how to best reach, educate, and support adult learners, Dr. Buban will participate in three panels at the conference, including the “Online Higher Ed Market Dynamics” panel, which will look at how employers can create the most impactful learning experiences for employees when they take ownership of and invest in employee education. Jill will present alongside JetBlue, who has created their own education program.

With years of expertise in bringing digital learning platforms to life, Dr. Buban will also speak on the “What Higher Ed Instructors Need. A.D. From Digital Learning Providers” panel, which will look at how higher education institutions are selecting, implementing and using digital learning materials and opportunities to better support instructors’ emerging needs. The third panel Dr. Buban will participate in is “The Fourth “School System”: Employers Becoming Educators.”

Krishnan will bring her expertise founding and running India’s largest child care business to speak alongside Harvard Business School Professor Joseph Fuller and Care.com CEO Tim Allen on the panel “B.C. To A.D. Caregiving At The Center of the Conversation,” which will address the topic of caregiving post-pandemic, where it is now even harder for families to find high-quality, affordable and reliable child care.

Started in 2010 as a collaboration between Arizona State University and Global Silicon Valley (GSV), the annual ASU+GSV Summit is now the top industry event for creating dialogue and driving action around raising learning and career outcomes through scaled innovation.
