Bright Horizons Clients Make up Two-thirds of the 2014 NAFE Top 50 Companies for Executive Women List

Bright Horizons Family Solutions^® congratulates its 38 employer clients named to this year's National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) Top 50 Companies for Executive Women list. The list also highlights 10 companies NAFE says are the "best" for women and  nine of those 10 companies are Bright Horizons clients.

NAFE's list, which has been published annually since 1998, recognizes corporations that have moved women into top executive positions and created a culture that identifies, promotes and nurtures successful women. Each submitting company is asked to complete a detailed application in which they need to show both internal and external programs and activities that benefit women. To qualify, companies also must have at least two women on its board of directors.

Some of the Bright Horizons clients featured on the list include AllState Insurance, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson and PNC Financial Services Group. 

Of this year's list, 28 percent have female executive officers, a jump from 25 percent in 2013 and 22 percent in 2012. Women also represent 35 percent of the top tenth of earners on this year’s list, an increase from 32 percent in 2013.
