Bright Horizons conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists of a county criminal record check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. In addition to the county criminal search , a sex offender search, OFAC search and a social security verification trace are also conducted. For all location employees, program licensing background checks required by the state are also performed.
For more information about this relationship, click here.
All Bright Horizons staff are trained regularly in CPR, even if not required by the state. First Aid is taught as required by state licensing agency/regulations so that you can feel confident that your child is safe and receiving the best care possible at our center.
Yes, Bright Horizons has an open door policy. You are encouraged to visit your child anytime.
Novartis Early Learning Center maintains a future list when
the school is full and for future care. Families may be on the list for full or
part-time care. A
first-come, first-served policy for applications arriving on the same date
priority is based on a lottery.
Offers will be made following the below priorities based upon date of application and desired start date. Families may decline an offer and maintain their current position on the future list once. After the second decline their name is removed from the future list. Families may register again at any time. When an offer is made for the position in the school, an employee must respond in 5 business days to accept or decline the position.
Please notify the Center if you are no longer interested in enrollment. This will help us provide the most accurate future list information.
Full- Time and Part-Time Enrollment Priorities
- Re-enrollment following
temporary withdrawal due to a parent’s company approved leave
- Sibling of a currently
enrolled child
- Currently enrolled child
who wants to change either from Full to Part-time enrollment or Part to
Full-time enrollment.
- Full time gets priority
over part time
We encourage any family interested in center information, regular updates and invitations to the many events we are planning, to contact us.
The Novartis
Early Learning Center is now enrolling and accepting pre-enrollment registration forms.
Yes. The center offers 5 day, 3 day, and 2 day a week care options to families.
Yes. The Novartis Early Learning Center offers a 10% discount for siblings enrolled in the center. The tuition for the youngest child will be at the full rate and each subsequent child enrolled will receive the discounted rate.
Recognizing families’ needs to plan and make decisions as far in advance as possible, the child care center’s tuition rates have been established and are in alignment with comparable, high-quality child care centers in the surrounding area.
While establishing these rates, Bright Horizons has worked hard to balance the tuition rates with the need to deliver the highest quality care possible, which is framed by the following factors:
- Lower classroom ratios and smaller group sizes
- Professional training, management, and support for teachers
- Ample equipment and resources for children and families
The 2016 tuitions for full-time and part-time care include children’s daily morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. Please click here to obtain the monthly tuition rates.
The Novartis Early Learning Center has a capacity of 190 children and will serve children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten prep. A school age program, with a capacity for 24 children, will provide families interim care during times when children are out of school.
If you are expecting a child, please complete a pre-enrollment registration form.
The center operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It remains open year-round, closing for the following 2016 locally observed holidays:

Bright Horizons curriculum, The World at Their Fingertips, is our unique curriculum designed to engage children in active learning that prepares them for school while helping them achieve their individual potential and fostering a spirit of community. It includes curriculum elements such as Language Works, Math Counts, Science Rocks, ArtSmart, Our World and Well Aware that cross all age groups. For more on information on our curriculum, click here.
- Start by selecting the Find a Center link on this page.
- Under the center you’re interested in, click the Tuition & Openings button.
- Then, select Schedule Your Visit and fill out the form.
This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:
- Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
- Labeling all items
- Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more
- Talking about the first day with your child
- Setting expectations for the new morning routine
- Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together
Please submit an inquiry to your center(s) of interest with a request for tuition information. We recommend scheduling a visit at the same time (this can be done on the same form).
Safety is our top priority, and it’s part of our everyday routine. All of our centers follow expert-informed health, safety, and security policies and allergy protocols. Additionally, health, safety, and wellness are built right into our curriculum, and our classrooms and spaces are safely designed for learning and exploration.
