Yes! Two snacks and lunch are provided. Meals are prepared by our chefs on-site. Bright Horizons is proud to be the first large provider to participate in the Partnership for a Healthier America with its focus on improving nutrition for children enrolled in preschool programs. We provide healthy and diverse meals. Keep an eye out for updated menus and updates on the timing of this change before it happens.
Yes, at least one guardian must be a SAS employee.
The childcare center will continue to operate on the same holiday schedule as SAS. We have two days that the center will be closed but SAS is open. During these days, the teachers will be participating in a Professional Development Day (PDD).

Some resources include Parenting Webinars and Tips, E News, Family Room Blog, Learning At Home activities. We conduct Parent Satisfaction Surveys, monthly Family Partnership Meetings, and other programs such as Monthly Events.
It’s based on a common belief that children are active learners. We share many similarities with Montessori regarding hands on learning and planned environments. Bright Horizons has extensive resources from which teachers can individualize learning.
Yes! Bright Horizons has Montessori schools and programs within the Bright Horizons family, so we are fully prepared to support the Montessori philosophy. Bright Horizons also has Montessori training materials that the staff may find helpful in the future. Over time we may add some program enhancements and enrichments, but all will be decided with SAS and center management.

This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:
- Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
- Labeling all items
- Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more
- Talking about the first day with your child
- Setting expectations for the new morning routine
- Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together
Please submit an inquiry to your center(s) of interest with a request for tuition information. We recommend scheduling a visit at the same time (this can be done on the same form).
Safety is our top priority, and it’s part of our everyday routine. All of our centers follow expert-informed health, safety, and security policies and allergy protocols. Additionally, health, safety, and wellness are built right into our curriculum, and our classrooms and spaces are safely designed for learning and exploration.
