Caring for Elder Loved Ones

Seniors are at elevated risk, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). That is why we are taking extra steps to maintain the highest standards of safety for elders, their families, and our staff. These steps include:

  • Halting on-site assessments
  • Recommending the use of our online Care Coach sessions for any immediate needs
  • Implementing additional safety measures in our back-up care program (you can read about the updates here)

If you are presently caring for an aging parent or other senior loved one, we have compiled the following resource pages to help you get accurate, up-to-date information.

For more local information, you can find a list of State Health Department Websites here - https://www.cdc.gov/publichealthgateway/healthdirectories/healthdepartments.html

If your elder loved one is in a care facility, the American Health Care Association has recommendations on steps to take to ensure health, safety, and communication.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share information as warranted.
