Certificate of Insurance (COI): Your insurance certificate should name Bright Horizons as both Additional Insured and Certificate Holder and show at least $1M in liability and physical/sexual abuse coverage.

Scope of Screening
Social Security Number trace which identifies all addresses and aliases associated with the caregiver for last 7 years.
State/County, Federal and National criminal history search for felony and misdemeanor criminal convictions in all locations where the employee has resided, been employed, or attended school in the past 7 years.
Search of U.S. Office of Foreign Assists Control Specially Designated National or export denial lists (OFAC).
Sex Offender Registries – check national and all state sex offender registries in the states in which the employee has resided or worked.
Other Notes:
Perform screening for each caregiver at least once every 36 months
Provide Bright Horizons with dates of completion of each background check
