Participants: This activity is intended for adult/child interaction.
Directions:
- Visit the Smithsonian Folkways website, which offers cultural information and music from around the world. Choose a few countries or regions to explore.
- Listen to the music with your child. Find each associated country or region on a map or globe.
- Encourage your child to move or dance to the music. How do the songs differ? How do they make you feel?
