- Masking or painter’s tape
Participants: This activity is intended for independent play, adult/child interaction, or 2 or more participants/players.
- Secure a piece of masking tape to a tile or wood floor. The tape should be at least 6 to 12 feet long.
- Pretend the tape is a tightrope. Cross it using a variety of body movements, such as tiptoeing, jumping, hopping, skipping, walking backward, or shuffling sideways.
- Add some exciting pretend elements. Pretend you’re crossing a river with crocodiles or a lava field.
