How to Do this Activity

First, read the story halfway through. Then, brainstorm ideas together for new ways to end it. It might be a little tricky, since he’s so familiar with the actual ending, but try giving an example to get the creative juices flowing. As he gives ideas, write them down. Then, have him dictate the new ending to you. You can also have him write certain words or letters (if he’s able to). Once you’re done, he can illustrate it, too!
