Frequently asked questions

You are responsible for travel costs to Newton, including flight, hotel, and travel from the airport. There are no conference registration fees, and meals are included. Hotel rates are discounted for summit attendees through the room block at the Sheraton Boston Needham hotel


Yes. We will host workshops on Tuesday, September 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. 


The summit will include a mix of keynote presentations, breakout sessions led by HR leaders and researchers, and workshops for deeper exploration of key topics. The 1.5-day event is meant to enhance your company culture, drive employee engagement, build your future workforce, and above all, unleash your people potential.  


Yes! We are looking for presenters and panelists and encourage you to submit a topic. Please send your topic idea to emilykaufman@brighthorizons.com


We will host a welcome reception for those arriving on Tuesday, September 24, and dinner for all attendees on Wednesday, September 25. Both are great opportunities to socialize and network with peers from other family-friendly and education-focused companies.  


Yes. For those arriving on Tuesday, September 24, there will be food at the welcome reception. All meals are included on Wednesday, September 25. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Thursday, September 26. Snacks and refreshments will be offered throughout the conference.  


The Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel is the official hotel for the On the Horizon Summit. We encourage you to book your room early to guarantee the best rate. Please use this link to go to the reserved block of rooms, which you can book at a discounted rate. 


Boston Logan and T.F. Green in Providence are two nearby airports. At the end of the summit on Thursday, beginning at noon, we will provide shuttles to Boston Logan from our office.
