Bright Horizons Recognized as one of the 100 Top Places to Work In Massachusetts for Fifth Year in a Row by Boston Globe

WATERTOWN, Mass., [November 2, 2012] – Bright Horizons Family Solutions® today announced that for the fifth year in a row it has been named as one of Boston Globe’s Top 100 Places to Work in Massachusetts. Since its founding 26 years ago, Bright Horizons has placed a high priority on creating a collaborative, inspiring culture that supports employees both within and outside of work.

“We value the well-being of our employees, as they are the keys to our success. Annually, we survey our employees to identify key drivers of their motivation, happiness and stress, both at work and in their personal lives. Using this research, we can help members of the Bright Horizons family achieve success at and outside of work.” said Bright Horizons CEO David Lissy. “We are thankful to each and every employee for all their dedication to our mission, and congratulate them on earning this special recognition by the Boston Globe.”

Based on the findings of the annual employee well-being survey, Bright Horizons created a Well-Being Help Center designed as a one-stop shop for employees to access expert advice on a range of topics from managing their finances to getting physically fit. Bright Horizons also launched a series of financial webinars focused on developing a budget, growing savings, and creating a personalized investment strategy. The survey also showed how resilient Bright Horizons employees are in times of difficulty. Currently, Bright Horizons is in the process of developing trainings to harness the attributes of resilience such as competence, creativity, collaboration, and optimism.
