Bright Horizons Welcomes Northwestern Medicine's McHenry Childcare Center into Family

Kendra Kett, division vice president for Bright Horizons, says hello to one of McHenry Childcare Center’s littlest charges in the infant room. The center cares for children from 6 weeks up to 12 years old.

June 26, 2019 – The children and teachers at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital Childcare Center were recently greeted by leaders from Northwestern Medicine and Bright Horizons, which is now managing the facility.

Gaurav Monga, director of Human Resources for Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, says Northwestern Medicine has recently made many enhancements to the facility on the McHenry Hospital campus, including repairs to the roof. Future plans for the center include security and IT enhancements, new paint and flooring, and replacing the gravel in the outdoor play area with a softer, rubber surface.

Bright Horizons also manages the two other NM-owned childcare centers: Bernice E. Lavin Early Childhood Education Center in downtown Chicago and Dearhaven Child Care and Learning Center in Lake Forest.
