Bright Horizons Employees Celebrate Pride Month at Boston Parade

June 14, 2023 – This past weekend Bright Horizons employees and their families joined more than 200 groups, organizations, and businesses in the Boston Pride parade to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The parade drew thousands of spectators along the route, which started in Copley Square in the Back Bay neighborhood of the city and ended on Boston Common. 

“Bright Horizons stands unequivocally for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Being vocal is a critical part of our DEI goals at Bright Horizons and participating in pride parades is an intentional way we use our voice to support the LGBTQ+ community,” said Patty Sinclair, Manager, Education and Curriculum and Co-Chair of BH Pride, the LGBTQ+ community at Bright Horizons. “We know that there is still more work to be done, and we remain committed to creating inclusive environments where every person has a sense of belonging and the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.”

BH Pride works to ensure Bright Horizons is a welcoming place for the LGBTQ+ community. Their mission is to foster awareness of LGBTQ+ experiences, lift the voices of LGBTQ+ people to connect as a community, and contribute to Bright Horizons policies that support and develop employees who are LGBTQ+.
