November 2, 2020 – In a segment on Yahoo! Finance, Bright Horizons CEO Stephen Kramer appeared to talk about the employers working with Bright Horizons to offer free back-up child care to enable employees with children to vote either before or on Election Day, including Target, Expedia, and Airbnb, among others.

Stephen emphasized that the employer dialogue has been around how to increase support for working parents, especially during events like the election:

“In the run-up to the election, there was a general recognition by our clients and by ourselves that this election season was going to be particularly challenging because normally we are on the forefront of encouraging parents to bring their children to the polls to help them to learn about that civic duty. But obviously with the long lines and with the health concerns, we really brought to bear a service that allows for employees to either have their children come to one of the Bright Horizons centers, or we can send a caregiver to their home to make sure that they have that important support leading up to and on Election Day so they can vote.”
