Sending Love to Nursing Home Residents

March 27, 2020 – Children at Bright Horizons in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania were featured on WNEP for sending hand-made pictures to the residents of Aventura at Creekside, a nursing home in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.

"In an effort to stay connected to others in the community, the center staff helped the children to create artwork and cards to brighten the day of the seniors," said Center Director Tonya Bastinelli. "We plan to continue writing to our new pen pals well into the future, too."
