Big firms offer stressed parents new perks such as subsidized tutoring

August 20, 2020 – Washington Post reporter Jena McGregor highlights Bright Horizons clients Accenture and Bank of America as two employers rolling out new educational benefits for working parent employees with school-age children. Both companies have partnered with Bright Horizons to offer small-group “school-day supervision,” as well as additional resources like “virtual field trips” and educational webinars for parents. Bright Horizons CEO Stephen Kramer was also quoted in the piece:

“As we’re staring down the barrel of many schools starting virtually, employers recognize that what employees have been doing for the last five months is absolutely not sustainable.”
