What Will the Future of Working Motherhood Look Like?

October 1, 2020 – In an article in Working Mother magazine about the affect the pandemic and resulting recession is  having on working mothers, author Stephanie Pfeffer quotes Bright Horizons CEO Stephen Kramer on his predictions around child care:

"The reality that many parents are facing now is not sustainable over the long haul—for working families or employers. Regardless of whether an employer is reopening their office, they recognize that employees cannot be productive and be full-time caregivers and teachers. Companies will reopen their childcare centers at or near their work sites irrespective of whether they are opening their workplaces. Finding childcare for both young children and school-age children will be critical to the country’s economic recovery and stability."
