Three Bright Horizons Educators Recognized as Exchange Leaders
September 5, 2018 – Three Bright Horizons educators were recently recognized by Exchange Magazine as part of the Exchange Leaders Initiative (ELI). The ELI was launched in November 2014 in an effort to recognize and increase the visibility of leaders in the field of early childhood education and care; leaders who are making a difference today and will be visionary leaders of the future.
Bright Horizons is proud to announce that three educators have been accepted into the ELI:
- Director of Educational Leadership Kelly Hansinger Director of Educational Leadership
- Director of Education and Curriculum Debbie Hoppy
- Director at Bright Horizons Family Center at Del Mar Sandy Cook
"We are so proud of our newly named Exchange Leaders and in evaluating the current landscape of the early care and education profession I know that we are fortunate to have Kelly, Debbie, and Sandy," said Bright Horizons Vice President for Education and Development, Rachel Robertson. "When I think of effective leaders in our field and the leadership we need now and into the future, I think of people who can balance research and practice; be both visionary and practical; and who celebrate progress but never stop striving. These three educators will envision and embrace needed innovation, ask tough questions that spark new thought, and help us to propel us all forward with passion and resolve."
They join previously recognized ELI members from Bright Horizons: VP of Learning & Development Rachel Robertson, Education & Development Senior Advisor Linda Whitehead, and Director at Citi Family Center – Jacksonville Elizabeth Powers.
