A message from Bright Horizons CEO Stephen Kramer:

Bright Horizons Family,

Today we face a painful truth in our nation. The seemingly senseless death of George Floyd in Minneapolis pains me deeply and is only the most recent mark of racism, bias, and hatred that has festered throughout our history and surged again recently. We also mourn Ahmaud Arbery, Eric Garner, Breonna Taylor, Philando Castile, Botham Jean, Sandra Bland, DJ Henry, and so many more.

As a Bright Horizons family, and as individuals who care, who are impacted, who are touched, and whose mission is to care for others and educate the next generation, we have an obligation to do what we can to stand up and make our voices heard. We need to join the fight to ensure all people share the same opportunities, privilege, respect, and freedoms.

While we may be physically apart, I call on the entire Bright Horizons to come together, united in this mission to do our part, through education and caring, to make a difference in our communities and nation and to ensure tolerance, respect, and compassion prevails.

Stephen
