For Full-Time Employees (working 30 hours or more per week)

Medical
We provide a number of medical plan options offering comprehensive coverage for a variety of important services including: doctor’s visits, preventive care, hospitalization, inpatient and outpatient services, and more. Options vary by region.

Dental
We offer two different dental plans to cover you and your family.

Vision
Our vision plan provides coverage for eye exams and pays benefits toward the cost of glasses or contact lenses.

Vacation
Vacation time is offered to all full-time employees (pro-rated for full-time employees working a regular schedule of fewer than 40 hours per week).

Sick Time
Sick time is offered to all full-time employees. Part-time and temporary employees will accrue sick time in certain locations as mandated by state or local laws.

Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) 
Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance is provided

Supplemental Life 
Supplemental life is offered to employees and may be elected for themselves, spouses and eligible children. The full premium is paid by the employee.

Disability
Short-term and long-term disability insurance is offered with a portion of the premium paid by the company. Covered employees unable to work due to illness/injury are eligible for a percentage of their weekly earnings for portion of the time that they are unable to work.

Early Education Degree Achievement Plan
Full time center & schools employees can earn their Associate's or Bachelor's ECE degrees for FREE through this program.

Adoption Assistance
Bright Horizons reimburses a portion of qualifying adoption expenses after 1 year of full-time employment.

Child Care Discount
Bright Horizons offers discounts on child care tuition at full-service centers (based on availability). (Not available at all locations)

Back-Up Child Care & Back-Up Adult/Elder Care
We offer back-up care to employees when regular child or adult/elder care is not available. Amount of back-up care days is determined by use of child care discount. In-home back-up care is available in certain circumstances. For back-up adult/elder care, full-time employees are eligible for a pre-determined amount of days per year. Additional restrictions may apply.

Commuter Benefit Program
A pre-tax benefit account for full-time employees used to pay for public transit and qualified parking as a part of your daily commute to work.

Additional Benefits from the Hartford
Employees have access to travel assistance, identity protection support, and help with difficult topics (including funeral planning, bereavement support / counseling and wills).

For Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (part-time employees continuously working at least 20 hours per week)

401(k)
Employees have the option to enroll in the Bright Horizons 401(k) plan where the company matches a percentage of employee contributions.

Tuition Reimbursement
Coursework must be directly related to current position. Reimbursement varies by full or part-time status and years of service.

Educational Advising
Through Bright Horizons Educational Advising, we partner with an impressive list of accredited institutions devoted to helping working adults navigate the process of going back to school and completing programs successfully and efficiently. Bright Horizons employees receive dedicated customer service, tuition discounts, and a range of other great benefits. Certain restrictions apply.

CDA Training
Bright Horizons provides financial assistance to full and part-time center faculty who pursue the CDA credential (The most widely recognized credential in early childhood education, which validates teacher’ professional competence while qualifying them to meet requirements for state licensing and NAEYC accreditation). The company covers all costs except for materials.

Bright Horizons College Coach®
Bright Horizons offers education and counseling services from experts with backgrounds in college advising via the web and phone. Bright Horizons College Coach can help with the college search, admissions, saving/paying for college, and helping school-age children with their education challenges and more.

Well-Being Help Center
Bright Horizons provides employees access to a free and confidential employee assistance program that offers professional support for employee well-being including personal counseling, financial resources, legal help, research and referral services, and more. Available 24 hours a day by phone or online.

Real Estate Advantage Program
Employees can sign up with REAP before they buy or sell a home to become eligible to receive cash rebates after a home is bought or sold. Cash credits are also available on closing costs when an employee finances or refinances a home. Employees can also get help finding a real estate agent, movers, and other similar logistics.

Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports™
Employees get free access to Sittercity to help find weekend/evening child care, house sitters, tutors, pet sitters, and other home and family services. Employees can post job listings or search for pre-screened caregivers that suit their needs. Employees also get access to Years Ahead, to help assess the needs of elder relatives and assist with planning and referrals. Bright Horizons pays for membership fees, the employee is responsible for caregiver payment.
