Bright Futures Scholarship

The Bright Futures Scholarship Program supports the field of early childhood education by offering scholarships for future teachers. At Bright Horizons®, it is our hope that these awards enable students of great promise to continue pursuing their dreams of caring for, teaching, and inspiring young children.

We are excited to award scholarships to students from across the country in the early childhood field or who are focusing on the education of children ages six and under. Higher education requires a significant investment and our hope is that these awards will help to offset student expenses. Selected recipients will be awarded funds directly for use toward purchasing books, laptops, fees or other education-related expenses.

High school seniors, two and four year college/university, and graduate students enrolled in accredited colleges or universities in the United States are eligible. Please review the eligibility requirements below before starting your application. While Bright Horizons’ employees are not eligible for the Bright Futures Scholarship, current and past Bright Horizons interns are encouraged to apply.

Awards and Eligibility

Bright Horizons is pleased to offer Bright Futures awards that will be presented to high school and college students pursuing degrees in the early childhood or related fields. In 2019, we will award 30 scholarships in the amount of $500 each. We reserve the right to review other financial aid options finalists may be receiving. Non-traditional students, individuals making a career change, people of color, and students who have overcome obstacles to obtain access to higher education and a career in early childhood are encouraged to apply.
