Dr. Valora Washington

Dr. Valora Washington is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Council for Professional Recognition. She has organized and developed early childhood initiatives targeting policy change in higher education and local, state, and federal government. Valora co-founded Voices for Michigan’s Children, the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative, and the CAYL Institute (a leadership development program for practitioners) where she is also President and CEO.
