Vanessa Walsh
Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Wells Fargo
Vanessa Walsh manages Talent and Organizational Effectiveness and Development Strategies for Wells Fargo. This includes strategies and programs that help further the growth of all team members and develop more Wells Fargo leaders. She also leads the Change Management, Manager Excellence, and International Talent priorities for the organization.
Prior to this role, Vanessa held positions in Wholesale Banking and the Virtual Channels groups, responsible for Learning and Development, Talent Management, Engagement, and Recruiting. Prior to Wells Fargo, she worked in California’s Judicial Branch focused on Succession Planning and Organization Development, and at Providian Financial where she led the company’s high potential program and 360 degree feedback process.
Vanessa earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. She is also a Professional Certified Coach.
Vanessa lives in San Francisco with her husband and sons.
