Bright Horizons at Schaumburg is especially designed to offer children an enriched experience. Each classroom in our child care center and preschool is specifically designed to optimize the learning experience for every child. There are separate natural outdoor play environments that are developmentally appropriate for different age groups from infants - preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners. The center offers a wide variety of enrichments including baby signs, dance, Zumba, culinary arts, music, and Mandarin Chinese - all included in the cost of tuition.
Tuition rates are established in alignment with comparable, high-quality child care centers in the surrounding area. When establishing these rates, Bright Horizons at Schaumburg works hard to balance tuition rates with the need to deliver the highest quality care possible. Our tuition rates take into account the following factors:
·Lower classroom ratios and smaller group sizes
·Professional training, management, and support for teachers
·Ample equipment and resources for children and families
·Special programs at the center that are included in tuition such as meals, Mandarin, Zumba, dance, and more
Actual monthly tuition will vary by family depending on the number of days per week the child(ren) will be in the center, the program in which they’ll be enrolled – Infant, Toddlers, Preschool , selected enrichments, etc. To find out more information about the specific tuition rate that will meet your family’s needs and schedule, please contact the center directly at (847) 925-1892.
Bright Horizons at Schaumburg offers programs for infants beginning at six weeks old through five year olds in our preschool and kindergarten prep programs.
Due to the environmental health best practices that we follow in our classrooms, EHCC has given our center their stamp of approval. Our teachers and staff work hard to ensure that our center benefits the well-being of young children by complying with environmental health guidelines put in place by the EHCC. By following these guidelines, our center eliminates or reduces environmental health hazards and ensures the safest possible space for your child to grow and thrive!
Some of the many EHCC safety guidelines that we follow include:
- Using fragrance-free household chemicals such as cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting products
- Avoiding lead by using only cold water for drinking, cooking, and making baby formula
- Using only non-toxic art supplies approved by the Art and Creative Materials Institute (ACMI) labeled with the AP (Approved Product) seal
- Avoiding soft pliable plastic products and plastic toys made out of PVC and instead only using products labeled PVC-free or phthalate-free

This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:
- Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
- Labeling all items
- Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more
- Talking about the first day with your child
- Setting expectations for the new morning routine
- Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together
Please submit an inquiry to your center(s) of interest with a request for tuition information. We recommend scheduling a visit at the same time (this can be done on the same form).
Safety is our top priority, and it’s part of our everyday routine. All of our centers follow expert-informed health, safety, and security policies and allergy protocols. Additionally, health, safety, and wellness are built right into our curriculum, and our classrooms and spaces are safely designed for learning and exploration.
