While our first responders are on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19, they need high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for their own children. #FirstRespondersFirst has brought together Thrive Global, Harvard School of Public Health, CAA, and Bright Horizons to open special child care hubs to meet the needs of our first responders who need, first and foremost, to respond to the needs of their own young children. Bright Horizons child care hubs operate with special COVID-19 protocols in place, including limited capacity and small group sizes, enhanced teacher:child ratios, and intensive hygiene and cleaning practices. The centers are staffed with experienced Bright Horizons early educators. Care is available for infants and children up to 12-years old, and is free to first responders.
