When the World Feels Scary: How to Talk to Children and Support Them

Whether it’s a natural disaster, an act of violence, an act of war, or an upsetting global event, children look to parents and caregivers for answers to their difficult questions. But how do we talk to our kids about these scary topics? In this short video, we provide strategies for creating the security and comfort your child needs to feel safe when the world is scary.
