Millions of American adults are currently caring for both young children and elderly family members simultaneously. These members of the sandwich generation face profound challenges reconciling their dual care roles with their workplace responsibilities. Bright Horizons partnered with Research Now to survey more than 1,400 full time employees to understand their current challenges balancing work and family demands, and the issues of sandwiched employees stood out.
