Bright Horizons at Windermere is proud to be a Orange County VPK provider! We offer numerous schedule options for VPK. Please call the center for more information.

Merge onto the 429/Daniel Webster Western Beltway via exit 267A towards Tampa/C.R. 535. Take exit 19 toward county Hwy-535/Winter Garden Vineland Rd. Merge onto Stoneybrook West Pkwy. Take the 1st left onto County Hwy 535/ Winter Garden Vineland Rd. Stay on this road approximately 2.9 miles. Turn left onto State Road 535/County Hwy 535. Stay on this road approximately 3.1 miles. We are located just past Lakeside Village Shopping Plaza on your right side. For directions and a map, please click here!

This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:  

 
  • Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
  • Labeling all items  
  • Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more  
  • Talking about the first day with your child  
  • Setting expectations for the new morning routine
  • Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together
