4. Reviewing key performance indicators with department heads within the domestic US operations
5. Creating an internal marketing campaign for Supplier Diversity
6. Formal executive support for the Supplier Diversity Program
7. Understanding and developing Supplier Diversity outside of the domestic US
Objective
To identify small and minority-owned suppliers and suppliers that demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and diversity through their organizations’ policies and practices. Included in our Program are:
- Certified minority-owned businesses, small and large
- Certified woman-owned businesses, small and large
- Certified small disadvantaged businesses
- Small veteran-owned and service disabled veteran-owned businesses
- Small, certified HUBZone businesses
- Gay and lesbian-owned businesses
Process
The Diversity Council meets on a regular basis to review diversity initiatives throughout our organization. Diversity within the supplier base is one of many facets of that review process. Supplier participation is measured against the total spend of our Organization and broken out within each Department represented in the US operations. Progress is measured quarterly and benchmarked against previous results. |
