At Bright Horizons, healthy students are our top priority. With that in mind, we’re happy to announce our continued commitment to Partnership for Healthy America (PHA) through 2020! Founded in 2010, this nonprofit group was designed to address obesity and support the health of our nation’s youth. By promoting important elements such as physical activity, nutrition, gardening, and family engagement, PHA helps us lay the foundation for future healthy lives.

Our center is conveniently located off of Hwy 85 and Hwy 101. We are located in South San Jose behind the Santa Theresa Kaiser Hospital. If you are on Hwy 85 take the Cottle Road exit and make a left turn onto Hospital Pkwy. At the stop sign, make a Right turn and proceed around the hospital until you have completed a half circle. Make a Right onto Liska Lane. You are now facing the center, proceed down Liska and make a Left turn into our parking lot. Please ring the door bell under the key pad which is to your left.

We encourage any family interested in center information, regular updates and invitations to the many events we are planning, to contact us.

Ask about our educational goals

Yes! Prospective parents can schedule a center visit by completing our Tuitions and Openings form from our center website.

Yes! Bright Horizons strives to and has successfully accommodated a wide range of special needs and individual differences in our group programs.  We believe in inclusive programs that attempt to meet the needs of a wide range of children and which focus on each child’s strengths. We support a collaborative team approach – the teacher, director, specialists, and parents. The team will work closely together to try to maximize each child’s opportunities for learning, growth, and development, and to attempt to eliminate any barriers or safety issues which a group program may present.

Speak with our center director

  • Start by selecting the Find a Center link on this page.
  • Under the center you’re interested in, click the Request Details button.
  • Then, select Schedule Your Visit and fill out the form.

This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:

  • Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
  • Labeling all items
  • Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more
  • Talking about the first day with your child
  • Setting expectations for the new morning routine
  • Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together

Additional information on our research-backed curriculum can be found here. To find a center near you, click Find a Center in the top right corner of the Bright Horizons home page.

Please submit an inquiry to your center(s) of interest with a request for tuition information. We recommend scheduling a visit at the same time (this can be done on the same form).

Safety is our top priority, and it’s part of our everyday routine. All of our centers follow expert-informed health, safety, and security policies and allergy protocols. Additionally, health, safety, and wellness are built right into our curriculum, and our classrooms and spaces are safely designed for learning and exploration.
