Give Stock
Thank you for your interest in making a contribution to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. A charitable gift of stock that has appreciated in value creates a two-fold tax advantage to the donor, thereby providing an opportunity for tax savings while generously supporting the Foundation. When you donate stock, you won't have to pay capital gains taxes on the increase in the value of your stock, and the full market value of the stock as of the donation date can generally be deducted as a charitable contribution. (Certain limitations do apply - please consult your professional tax advisor for tax and estate planning advice on charitable gifts).
How to give to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children:
Electronic delivery of stock shares is the most secure and expedient delivery process available and provides effective internal control as well as cost savings to you as the donor. Stock brokers do require transfer instructions in writing - please instruct your broker to transfer securities as follows (Stock Donation Form):
