Education is dynamic at Bright Horizons. Like children, we are always learning and benefiting from the latest research and thinking around educational practices as well as practicing educational methods that have stood the test of time. At Bright Horizons, we have three approaches to education: The World at Their Fingertips program for learning practiced at many of our early care and education programs; the Montessori Method based on the approach developed by Maria Montessori in the early 1900s; and our Elementary Schools curriculum. Read below and use the menu on the left to find out more about each.

Learning at Home offers parents opportunities to extend their child's learning through brief activities that are voluntary, fun, and fit into the busy lives of families. Learning at Home provides a database of activities for infants through school age children to do at home with parents, many that naturally flow from everyday life. The activities cover the curriculum spectrum - language, science, math, social skills and so on. You will be able to draw off of this database to extend what is happening in your child’s homebase or classroom.

External Resources provide families with a list of recommended books, videos or direct links to websites full of information at their fingertips. Child Development, Language, Health/Safety and Homework Help are just a few topics families will find. Families also will be able to purchase books they are interested in purchasing with a link directly to Amazon.
