Meet the Teachers

A Bright Horizons teacher is a nurturer as well as an educator, someone who encourages learning through exploration, and who understands the balance between what a child needs to feel safe and what she requires to reach her potential.

Our teachers are all experienced and highly trained, meeting rigid certification requirements, keeping up with the latest in curriculum and continually developing new skills. Equally important, they love to teach. All come to the classroom with a passion for their craft and a love of children, offering the expertise to help children build skills and the nurturing spirits to help them grow.

Each program is led by a team of exemplary leaders who see not just the group, but the individuals. With our teachers by their sides, children become active explorers who develop at their own pace, who reach milestones with loving guidance and who find their potentials and passions, whether that means a zest for books, a love of science, or a fascination with all things outdoors.

Just as important, your child’s teacher is your partner. At Bright Horizons, families and teachers work together --celebrating successes, navigating challenges, and communicating daily about your child’s achievements and goals.

Naomi K., Lead Infant Teacher

Parents call Naomi’s ability to communicate with infants a gift. For eight years, the warmth and skill of this lead infant teacher at our Belle Creek Early Learning Center in Henderson, Colorado has been a comfort both to babies in need of nurturing and to parents leaving their children for the first time. Many parents, in fact, have called Naomi the reason they were able to make the leap to go back to work. Her unique ability to connect with these young children stretches beyond cuddling into all of her teaching activities, whether she’s engaged in singing, musical-instrument playing or art. Such expert skill has earned Naomi a Bright Horizons’ Janice Hill award, as well as a nickname—“The Baby Whisperer.”
