Dan is known for his ability to generate organizational value by influencing decisions from the board room to the front lines. As a Human Resources executive, he has successfully developed and implemented strategic talent management systems, proactive labor relations strategies, and flexible enterprise human resources solutions that deliver sustainable results.
Dan joined Bright Horizons in May 2004. In his current role, Dan shapes the overall people strategy and the delivery of leading-edge people solutions to more than 20,000 global employees. Under his leadership, Bright Horizons workforce practices have been recognized by The Department of Labor, The US Army, Workforce Management Magazine, Recruiting and Staffing Magazine, Diversity Inc and The Center for Companies that Care. The company has also been included on the 100 Best Places to work list by the Great Places to Work Institute and Fortune Magazine and the 50 Best places to work list in the United Kingdom by the Financial Times of London.
Dan is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Human Resources Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Human Resource Management Foundation and Squash Busters, a program supporting urban youth to and through college.
Dan is a contributing author to Inside the Minds, Solutions at work and Insights magazine, a publication of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA). Dan has also been a featured speaker at the NEHRA annual convention, The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Suffolk University, Bentley College, the Conference Board, and The Great Places to Work Institute.

Mr. Kramer currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations for Bright Horizons Family Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for evaluating and leading the company’s efforts into new geographic areas as well as overseeing Europe and Tuition Advisory Services. Prior to his current role, he relocated to the UK for two years where he served as Managing Director, Europe. He co-founded College Coach, which is now a Bright Horizons solution, and joined Bright Horizons in 2006 when College Coach was acquired. Previously, Mr. Kramer initiated and led the education practice at Fidelity Ventures, the venture capital arm of Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity Ventures, he invested in and consulted to a number of education service companies. Prior to his experience at Fidelity, Mr. Kramer was a consultant with Arthur D. Little, where he directed high growth organizations in the areas of strategy and operations.
Mr. Kramer studied at the London School of Economics and graduated with highest distinction from Babson College and earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
