Acquisitions at Bright Horizons
“Bright Horizons is the only organization we considered turning our program over to.
The company’s emphasis on high-quality education is unparalleled and complements its mission,
which is similar to our own philosophy of early education. We were amazed at the synergy of
our programs, and that’s one reason why the acquisition was so successful.”
Lynn Kanter-Levy, Founder of Marin Day Schools, California
Hello! My name is Ann Pickens, and I am proud to lead the Bright Horizons Acquisitions Team. Together,
the members of our team have nearly 50 years of experience
in early care and education. We have completed numerous
transactions, providing a proven road map to evaluate the
potential for your business to become a part of our company.
Nonetheless, we appreciate the importance of looking at each opportunity
on an individual basis and will spend the time to create a process that
you are comfortable with. We know how important it is for you to place
your business and the future of all the children who you teach and care
for in the right hands. In addition, not only will your program and
families be well taken care of, so will your staff. As a member of our
community, your team will have access to a variety of training and
career advancement resources and recognition programs.
We are well-equipped to walk you through our acquisitions process:
from the initial steps of signing a nondisclosure agreement and determining
whether there is a fit between your business and ours; to reaching
agreement on key terms and conditions and performing due diligence; to
developing a thoughtful communications plan for your employees and the
families you serve to ensure a smooth transition.
If you have made the decision to sell your program or are still
considering your options, we would love to discuss a possibility of
welcoming your business into our family.
Sincerely,
Ann Pickens
